Joyride Taco House

Effortlessly cool and creative eats

With two locations, one in Gilbert’s Heritage District and the other in Phoenix’s Medlock neighborhood, Joyride Taco is a neighborhood taco joint perfect for hanging out with friends and discovering the fresh food and sublime cocktails.

Specializing in tacos served on made-to-order corn tortillas, the vibe at Joyride is casual and family friendly. Baja fish, braised beef, carnitas, pork adobada, shrimp and more are garnished with the freshest salsas, cabbage, Mexican slaw and more. Sidewalk Surfer Chilaquiles and savory enchiladas are the house specialties. Of course, there are burritos, including the Garden Variety which, stuffed with squash, spinach, mushroom avocado, corn, queso, and salsa, is anything but. Aguas Frescas are made fresh daily, and can be spiked with tequila, vodka, gin, amaretto, rum or Frangelico. The drink menu also features an extensive list of craft beers, wine, a variety of margaritas and an uncommonly good curated list of tequilas. Both Joyride Taco locations open daily at 11 a.m., closing at 11 p.m. on weekdays, midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 10 p.m. Sunday.

  • Come by any time before 5 p.m. to enjoy pitchers of beer, wine and more at $5 each
  • Feel refreshed on the patio with a plate of shrimp ceviche to share
  • Enjoy numerous gluten-free and vegan options, like the veggie tacos with Mexican slaw
