Sushi Roku

Hyper-hip sushi spot

Hip and contemporary is what you’d expect from a dining spot in the ultra-cool W Scottsdale, and Sushi Roku fits that bill perfectly. Specializing in outstanding sushi, infused with a California flair, Sushi Roku combines the finest, freshest fish with non-traditional ingredients like jalapeños, quinoa and burrata cheese, to name a few. Not just a sushi restaurant, the menu also includes salads, appetizers and a selection of hot entrees including 14-day-aged rib-eye steak, filet mignon, and Chilean sea bass. Bento boxes, sandwiches and salads are offered at lunch. For a truly one-of-a-kind authentic Japanese experience, Sushi Roku’s skilled chefs present the creatively orchestrated Omakase dinner, showcasing the restaurant’s signature offerings. There are many sushi restaurants in the Valley, but none as creative as Sushi Roku, where the food is artistic as well as delicious. Of course, you’ll still find the traditional favorites like California rolls and spicy tuna, but the menu encourages you to venture out of your culinary comfort zone. Why settle for regular edamame when you can try edamame hummus with wonton chips? Sushi Roku is open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 10:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. They also boast one of the best happy hours in town, with selected appetizers and sushi for $4 and $5, and drink specials ranging from $3 to $5. Happy hour is from 4 to 6 p.m., daily with extended hours until 10:30 p.m. on Sundays.
