Desert Highlands Golf Club

Setting the standard in exceptional desert living

Setting the standard in exceptional desert living, the Desert Highlands golf course is set in a picturesque landscape among the Pinnacle Peak mountainside. Home to the first two Skins games in 1983 and 1984, when you walk on the course you are walking in the footsteps of Jack Nicklaus (course designer), Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Gary Player. A dramatic elevated tee on the first hole sets the tone for the par-72 course and plays 7,108 yards from the tips. Not only is the luscious turf an attractive quality, there is also award-winning tennis that can be played on a variety of surfaces, including grass. You can participate in the nine weekly organized games for every level, over 20 special events, and receive instruction from seasoned pro tennis players. The 30,000-sq.-ft. Clubhouse Rock facility provides a cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy a meal on one of the small terraces built into the boulders of the clubhouse or dine inside for views of Pinnacle Peak and the entire Valley. Clubhouse Rock also prides themselves on their fitness center which includes the latest equipment such as the high-tech Power Plate that helps to build bone density, get rid of cellulite, increase circulation, and alleviate arthritis and tendonitis. There are a plethora of fitness classes to suit your fancy and don’t forget to take a dip in the community pool where members can reserve their own private pool parties.
