An upscale, contemporary steakhouse located at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak features only the finest cuts of beef, poultry and fish. Your culinary journey begins with the signature trio of duck-fat fries, perfectly crisp, uniquely seasoned, and paired with complementary dipping sauces. Executive Chef Jeremy McMillan upholds the Mina tradition of slow poaching the meats in butter before firing them to perfection over wood flame. The menu always includes local seasonal ingredients, and accompaniments include soy-glazed mushrooms, roasted Brussels sprouts, horseradish mashed potatoes, roasted broccolini with Thai seasoning, and more. While the steak offerings are incomparable — diners can choose from certified Angus, USDA prime or Wagyu varieties — Bourbon Steak also takes pride in its seafood selection. For pescatarians, diver scallops, Maine lobster, wild salmon and a shellfish tasting grace the menu with equal prominence as filets, rib eyes, Porterhouse, and pork and lamb chops. The wow factor doesn’t end with the food. The cocktail menu mirrors the steakhouse’s philosophy of placing a modern twist on classic recipes. The bar houses some of the finest and most sought-after whiskeys and bourbons, as well as an extensive wine list and other fine spirits. Each month, master mixologists conduct cocktail classes in the restaurant as well.
